There was a time I used to watch tv serials religiously, but now thanks to web shows, I don't have the patience to go through ads. Also my taste in shows has evolved, I can't sit through the unnecessary drama. But there was a time when the Indian Tv Soap Operas had good shows, with really good story lines, not the regular saas-bahu ke nakhre. Since the past years, we have been blessed with many women-centric films, which were much long due. Whether it maybe a young woman discovering herself, or a mother seeking vengeance, these movies are an inspiration and representation that we needed. Maa Shailaputri Navaratri is a Hindu festival that spans over nine nights (and ten days). The post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharada Navaratri, is observed in the honor of the divine feminine Devi Durga.
