Hey Merfolks! Here are some of the easiest & simplest ways to start practicing eco-friendly living : 1. Bamboo Toothbrushes This is something we do everyday. By not using plastic toothbrushes, we will reduce so much plastic waste. Bamboo is biodegradable, hence eco-friendly. Note : The bristles are not eco-friendly. They are either made of plastic or nylon. No one has come up with an eco friendly option yet. So that part of the toothbrush is still harmful to the environment. Hey Merfolk! We all admire some qualities, we wish to have in ourselves. Sometime looking at a role model helps us achieve that goal. Today I bring you all the female characters I look up to. Kate Beckett Katherine "Kate" Houghton Beckett is an NYPD Captain in charge of the 12th Precinct, after being promoted from homicide detective, and a former Federal government agent. She is portrayed by Stana Katic, in the ABC crime series Castle. Kate is a strong, disciplined, no-nonsence type of person. She's rational, pratical person, who knows what the f**k she's doing. She gives her hundred percent and does her job well. She is tough but also caring and reliable at the same time. Castle is one of my most favourite shows and Kate Beckett is one those characters who should look upto. Did I mention, she once ran in high-heel boots to arrest a suspect. Respect! You must have heard a few of them on the internet, and let me tell you they are true to their hype.  Below are my favourite comedy shows, arranged chronologically : Friends (1994) Follow the lives of six reckless adults - Rachel Greene, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, Phoebe Buffay, and Joey Tribbiani, living in Manhattan, as they indulge in adventures which make their lives both troublesome and happening.
